Sooner or later during your Amarillo visit, you will get hungry! I know we do. Luckily there are several Amarillo restaurants to pick from!

When we travel with our kids, we don’t always look for fancy restaurants. I’d rather eat a little cheaper and spend more on fun.

Besides, most kids are happy with a good hamburger.

At times it is of course very nice if mom & dad can have a decent steak or pasta, etc.

South Padre Island – We Loved It!

South Padre Island SurfingWe moved to San Antonio (with the Army) from Illinois in 2010. We had talked about going to the coast (South Padre) for a while but never did until this past weekend.

We went to South Padre Island with our 89 pound dog and we were able to get a condo right on the beach. When we opened the living room and bedroom doors, there it was.
