Thinking about staying in a Dallas BedAndBreakfast? That’s a great idea if you are looking for a different lodging experience to a hotel.
B&Bs often have a special ambiance that is hard to come by at a hotel.
In my opinion, a Bed & Breakfast is more ideally suited to couples wanting a quiet, romantic getaway without the kids.
I found that there aren’t near as many Bed & Breakfasts around as there are hotels, so it is a little harder to find a good B&B that offers good value.
However, they are out there…
Here are my favorite Bed and Breakfasts in Dallas…

The Corinthian
A fabulous Dallas BedAndBreakfast is the The Corinthian. I think it’s location is great because it is near downtown Dallas, and also near major highways to get to Dallas’ attractions fairly quickly.
The Corinthian is a beautifully restored house from the early 1900s. Its five suites are all very tastefully decorated. It also offers “modern” things like wireless internet access.
When you enter, you will notice why this is different from a hotel. The Inn keeper is very friendly and will likely show you around the house, and also offer you something to eat. Maybe some banana bread?
The breakfast they serve is also very good. It’s not your run-of-the-mill continental breakfast served at many hotels!
The Corinthian will truly give you a special experience!
The Guesthouse on Allen Street
Not too far from the Corinthian is The Guesthouse on Allen Street, another good Dallas BedAndBreakfast.
It is a single-suite Bed & Breakfast located in the historic Uptown State Thomas area of Dallas. The spacious suite overlooks a rose garden. It also offers wireless internet access.
Every evening The Guesthouse offers wine and hors d’oeuvres.
There are also several good restaurants nearby.
Daisy Polk Inn
Another excellent Dallas BedAndBreakfast is the Daisy Polk Inn.
If you like to place an emphasis on the “breakfast” part of “bed and breakfast”, you will enjoy the Daisy Polk Inn… their breakfasts are superb!
The Daisy Polk Inn has a very interesting story that begins back in the early 1900s, and the house was declared a historic landmark some years ago. It has six comfortable and stylishly-decorated rooms.
The owners are very friendly and will make you feel right at home.
