Need to look at some Fredericksburg Texas hotels? I like Fredericksburg as a weekend-getaway.
It could be either just me and my wife, or we take the kids along. Either way, we usually sleep there are least one night.
Luckily Fredericksburg has many options for lodging. There are several bed-and-breakfasts and hotels to choose from. We have stayed in both types of lodging.
To help you find a hotel that you’ll like, here are our favorite…
Fredericksburg Texas Hotels
Hangar Hotel
The Hangar Hotel is certainly a unique hotel that you won’t find at many places.
It is located at the Fredericksburg airport, which is about 2 miles outside town.
The Hangar Hotel is beautifully decorated and takes you back to the 1940s with its decor. From the outside it looks like a World War II airplane hangar.
We have stayed in the Hangar Hotel several times and it was very good every time. It is fun to have breakfast while watching planes land or take off.
Keep in mind that the hotel does not have a pool. If that doesn’t bother you, give it a try. It is something different!
Inn on Barons Creek
The Inn on Barons Creek is another of our favorite Federicksburg Texas hotels.
It is a beautiful hotel that is so nicely decorated!
They have a very nice, heated pool. They offer a free, full breakfast. They even have a full service spa. Like most other hotels, they have internet access available. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
The Inn on Baron’s Creek is really a magnificent place and I’m sure you’ll have a great stay there.
La Quinta Inn & Suites Fredericksburg
The La Quinta Inn & Suites is a good hotel in Fredericksburg too.
If you’ve stayed in La Quinta hotels before, you know more or less what to expect. This La Quinta is no different.
It offers free breakfast, free internet, and has a fitness center and nice pool. Pets are welcome too.
If don’t mind a little drive out of Frederickbsurg and want a different experience, take a look at Quiet Hill Ranch. It is about 25 miles out Fredericksburg and will take about 30 minutes to reach.
