The Houston Zoo is a 55-acre park inside Hermann Park near downtown Houston. It has more than 6,000 animals, or 900 species, including colorful frogs, exotic birds, elephants, lions, gorillas, rhinos, tigers, piranhas, jellyfish, clown fish, and much more. The Houston Zoo also has a wildlife conservation program that you can support with donations.
